Nearly Half of Consumers Don’t Upgrade Software [INFOGRAPHIC]:
Did you know it's International Technology Upgrade Week? While it may not sound exciting, updating the software on gadgets is essential to ensure they function like they're meant to.
Video chatting service Skype partnered with Norton by Symantec and TomTom to launch this initiative with the goal of encouraging consumers to update their software more frequently.
"The prime focus of International Technology Upgrade Week is to directly address consumers’ concerns and educate them on the value of keeping their software up to date, especially when many updates are free," notes a press release from Skype.
