Chinese robocalls are part of an international phone scam: A new wave of scammers are flooding the United States with Chinese robocalls. The robocalls deliver a recorded message claiming to be from the Chinese consulate, saying the recipient is in trouble with Chinese officials. These are scams, warn the FTC and Chinese consulates.
